Zero Day

The Dominion High School staff welcomes all students and their parents to our informal opening day of school. This will be a simulated day of school. Students will be able to follow their complete schedule, find all of their classrooms, locate their locker, and meet their teachers.

Our commitment to academic excellence and student engagement finally continues. We are planning a celebratory return to in-person learning.
Football game vs Potomac Falls
Friday, August 27 at 7 pm
Dominion High School is blessed to host the biggest athletic event of the year as the Titans host our cross-town rivals.
Our preparation for this rivalry will begin with a pep rally at 3:15 pm and exciting pre-game activities.
We invite the entire community to engage with our football team, cheerleaders, and marching band.

Save the Date for Sophomore Transition Day
As many members of the Class of 2024 prepare to spend their first days of school inside the building, sophomores deserves the opportunity to gather together and explore the building for prior to Zero Day and the start of school.
Save the date for this experience on the afternoon of Friday, August 20th.

Class of 2022 College Application Bootcamp

We are inviting all students in the Class of 2022 to join us as we help you navigate through the college admissions process. Sessions will include information on writing college essays, letters of recommendation, financing college, scholarships, and more!
Sessions will run from 9 AM-12:30 PM at Dominion High School. We hope to see all members of the Class of 2022!

Parent Seminars
In the post-pandemic world, nearly half of the student body has never attended a single day of school at Dominion High School.
Therefore, we invite all parents, but especially parents of freshmen and sophomores to a presentation that will offer practical strategies for helping our Titans develop responsible academic, attendance, attitudinal, and behavioral habits.
The seminar will also focus on the school wide plan for promoting effective communication and mutual engagement between parents, students, and teachers.
